Dinosaur cupcake toppers have to be small before they are anything else. These Dino-mite mini toppers are acrylic and scaled to a single cupcake, so they sit on the frosting without hanging past the liner or toppling the moment someone carries the tray outside.

The advantage over a full cake is portioning. Cupcakes hand themselves out at a party full of small people, and a tray of matching acrylic cupcake toppers turns a plain boxed dozen into the dessert table everyone photographs. Line them up with the rest of your dinosaur party supplies and dinosaur birthday party decorations, or scatter a few across a frosted sheet cake when you would rather cut than plate. They also stretch further than one cake does, which helps when the guest list keeps growing in the group chat. They are decoration, not food, so they lift off before the first bite and the cupcake underneath stays exactly as good as it was.

What size should cupcake toppers be? Cupcake toppers are scaled to a single cupcake, so they need to be narrower than the top of the liner to sit securely. Designs vary in both width and height, so comparing the listed dimensions to your cupcakes is the reliable check.
