Strawberry season is short, so the decorations may as well work hard. This Strawberry Picnic set is cut from acrylic, which means the shapes hold their edge outdoors where a printed card pick would wilt in the first warm hour. They are mini scale, sized for a single cupcake, so a strawberry cake topper look carries across an entire tray instead of stopping at one dessert.

That makes them useful well past birthdays. Use them as strawberry party decorations on a picnic spread, tuck them into a berry trifle, or line them up on a tray of shortcakes. Acrylic survives being packed away, so the set comes back out next June rather than going in the bin with the napkins.

How big should cupcake toppers be? A cupcake topper should be small enough to sit on the frosting without tipping or hanging past the liner. Beyond fit it is a styling choice, so slim upright shapes read cleanly across a dessert table and wider shapes make more of a statement.
